Hello! I’m Pastor Cherie Forret and it’s a joy to be serving in ministry with you at Lakeshore UMC in Manitowoc. Our ministry together starts at a time of great opportunity, as we resume activities to connect our ministry to the community around us. I look forward to getting acquainted and learning more about the gifts within the people of this congregation. I trust God will guide us in the ways we will use those gifts to meet needs throughout the greater Manitowoc community.

Throughout my time in ministry as an Elder in the United Methodist Church, I’ve had wonderful opportunities to serve in different parts of our Wisconsin Conference. Right now I’m especially glad to be serving on the shore of Lake Michigan, both for it’s tremendous natural beauty, as well as being close to my family: parents, grown children and grandchildren. On my time off, I often head out to spend time with my family, or to enjoy hiking and birdwatching. Most of all right now, I look forward to meeting Lakeshore's people and learning more about this area. Please stop in at church to get acquainted when you have a chance!
