Tracey Schultz

Tracey started her music journey at Holy Family Conservatory of Music at age 5, studying piano with Sister Alberta until college. She then attended Silver Lake College and obtained a Bachelor of Music Degree.

She has been playing in various churches since age 12. She started playing for childrens' services at First Lutheran Church then eventually was able to play for regular church services with the help of her organ teacher, Mr. Mel Kitzerow.

With her Bachelor of Music Degree, she began teaching General Music at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and St. Boniface Catholic Church, teaching K-8 grades for 5 years. Then she accepted a General Music Teaching position with Manitowoc Public Schools. The District provided her with the wonderful opportunity to teach music to literally thousands of students over a period of 31 years.

Since retiring in 2017, Tracey continues to teach a small amount of piano students from her home. We are blessed to have her playing here at Lakeshore United Methodist Church; she's been a part of this congregation for approximately 35 years! Tracey says "My favorite part of music ministry is sharing my love of music with a wonderful, caring congregation that has made music my calling..."
